Agent Spotlight: Michael Moore
Finding Purpose, Building Dreams, and Thriving with Gulf Coast RE Group

After 25 years in the restaurant industry, Michael Moore made a bold move—one driven by heart and purpose. “I wanted to help people,” Michael shared. “I didn’t know how at first, but I knew I needed a career where I could truly make an impact.” That clarity came when he bought his own home. His real estate agent went above and beyond to guide him through the process during a time of uncertainty. That experience changed everything. “I honestly don’t know what would have happened to our living situation if he hadn’t helped us. I knew then—that’s what I wanted to do.”

Since entering the real estate world, Michael has found that his greatest strength isn’t tied to a specific neighborhood but to his ability to understand his clients on a deeper level. “I focus on truly listening and learning what people want in a home or investment property,” he said. “That’s how I deliver on their expectations.”

When he’s not working, Michael is all about meaningful connection—whether that’s spending time with loved ones, exploring new restaurants, enjoying comedy shows, hitting the gym, or finding peace and purpose at church.

Michael’s journey wasn’t without challenges. “I had my license for two years and only closed three deals. I took all the classes and coaching events I could, but being a solo agent was harder than I expected,” he admitted. That’s when he found Gulf Coast RE Group. “I met with about five teams in ROGMVP, but when I sat down with Alex and Chris, something told me—this is the one.”

Since joining, Michael’s business has taken off. “If you truly follow the systems, ask questions, and listen to our amazing leaders, it will happen! The support on this team is unreal.”

So what’s the key to Michael’s success? “Giving thanks to God and growing that relationship. Never giving up, working hard, and striving to be a little better each day.”

And to new agents just starting out, Michael offers this advice:
“Learn to adapt. Stay the course no matter what. Follow the systems. Take constructive criticism. Always communicate. And stay positive—even when it feels impossible.”
