Erika Carson

In this installment of our Agent Spotlight series at Gulf Coast RE we’re interviewing Erika Carson, who specializes with us in transaction coordination. Let’s learn more about her expertise, as well as get to know her a bit better outside of the real estate world.

What do you love about real estate, why’d you get into real estate in the first place?

I love all the different things you can do with real estate – I originally was a Realtor and quickly realized that I loved supporting agents.  No two transactions are the same and I have seen how having a strong support behind you is key to doing well.

Is there a particular part of being a head TC that you love the most?

I love problem solving with the agents – no matter how many deals we work on, I always learn something new each time and see new problems pop up.  I always have my eye out to see how we can be more effective/efficient.  Especially with all the paperwork!

What do you do for fun?

I love to travel and see the world!  I also love anything outdoors / good restaurants / live music.

Favorite restaurant?

Anything Thai 🙂

What would you consider your keys to success to be?

Staying calm during the transaction, being available to agents for questions, not being afraid to ask questions!  This is a big one – don’t assume – always ask.

How many different companies/agents have you worked for in the past, and how would you say Gulf Coast RE Group differs from them, if at all?

As a TC I’ve worked for many different teams and agents and the one thing I have consistently said about Gulf RE over the years is the level of support and training that they have for their agents is unmatched. The knowledge that is freely given and the ability to always get an answer is so crucial. Gulf RE also manages to be high producing while having a great team culture. That isn’t something that is easily done.

Any advice for any agents thinking about potentially joining Gulf Coast RE?

The one thing that makes Gulf RE Group stand out is it is beneficial for a new agent and a seasoned agent.  The training, lead sources, support and general team culture is unparalleled.
